It’s degrading to know there are people like this is the medical field. Not following basic protocols, for discard of trash, bedside commode is not being emptied, not even close to being sanitary. Nothing, is better then Eurine and eggs for breakfast..

They have waited 2 weeks before they even called her doctor to ask for an x-ray. The director of nursing was not very friendly with me this morning when I called to check on my mom. I asked her to ask the doctor if my mom could have anything stronger for pain and she almost bit my head off.
My friend complains of the food but it smells wonderful-her diet doesn’t allow certain things so that’s for the best. The building is bright and I have found the staff to be very pleasant and helpful. I know this is a hard time for these guys and gals to be working in this industry.

I don’t understand how you would let a patient in that condition make those kinds of decisions. They told us they were taking her to the dining room for dinners and helping her eat. Needless to say after loosing 40lbs in a short amount of time, they weren’t taking her to the dining room. The staff would come in and set her food on the tray and ask if she wanted to eat, if she said no, which was pretty much all the time, they would simply walk out and not care if she ate or not. When I was doing window visits, my moms room was next to the emergency exit, so the staff would prop the door open and there was at least 2 people out there smoking non-stop. So, they were always short handed because 2 people were always outside smoking.
